Lie. Nipton, according to Google Earth, is actually desolate presently with just a few house, rail fencing here and there, and a few vehicles placed around. It has no main street, just the highway that blows right through it.
This is actually Leadville Colorado, a small mountain town of exceptional charm, the place of Molly Brown fame. Molly Brown's Denver home is just four blocks east of my apartment.
